Does Hogue Head Lake provide for inclement weather?

Hogue Head Lake is an outdoor venue. The rental of a tent is a great option. We are, however, able to accommodate shelter for intimate weddings (up to 30 guests) on the spacious Lakeview porch.

Am I required to purchase wedding day insurance?

Accepted Answer

Wedding day insurance is required. You can purchase special event insurance through your insurance company or purchase online through Travelers, WedSafe and WedSure.

Question 4

What is Hogue Head Lake’s alcohol policy?

You are welcome to provide your own alcohol, however, it must be served by a licensed bartender or catering service. It’s important to check your caterer’s alcohol policy as they might prefer to supply their own.

Does Hogue Head Lake provide tables and chairs?

Rental of the tent, tables, chairs, and restroom facilities are included in each of our three Wedding Package options. We are also happy to help arrange rentals of dinnerware and connect you with other wedding support services.

How long do I have access to the venue rental?

There is a private residence at Hogue Head Lake. While we are working on renovations to the farmhouse located on the property’s north end, the venue availability is allocated to the day of your event.

What is the capacity at Hogue Head Lake?

We can provide parking for up to 100 cars and have a maximum capacity of 200 guests.

What are Hogue Head Lake's accommodations for the bridal party?

Getting ready for your big day calls for lots of preparation and a beautiful space to relax with your entourage.   Our bridal suite offers a private powder room, mirrors, and complimentary snacks and beverages. The Bridal room looks down over the processional area and the lake!  The Groom's area is the perfect place to prepare, connect with friends, and calm your nerves. It features a pool table, foosball table, and dry bar.
